Become a PCO

Our community needs leaders. Our community needs YOU.

Become a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO)

A Precinct Committee Officer, or PCO, is the backbone of the Cowlitz County Democrats. PCOs are the local connection between voters and the Democratic Party — they help neighbors get registered to vote, share information about candidates and issues, and build the grassroots power we need to win elections at every level.

What does a PCO do?

  • Keep in touch with Democrats in your neighborhood.

  • Help turn out the vote during elections.

  • Vote on local party leadership and policies.

  • Represent your precinct at party meetings and conventions.

Why become a PCO?
Serving as a PCO is one of the most important volunteer roles in our local party. It’s a simple way to make a big difference right where you live — strengthening our voice and helping elect leaders who share our values.
